Who is Donna K. Glover
Donna K. Glover is a results-driven leader with over 20 years of experience in education, nonprofit management, business, and technology. A proud Prairie View A&M University graduate, Donna has built a career defined by innovation, accountability, and service to her community.
Raised in Houston and shaped by the values of faith, family, and fairness, Donna understands what it means to work hard, lead with integrity, and serve others. From her early years growing up in South Park, Sunnyside, and Cloverland to the Southwest Side, she learned that real progress comes when people have access — access to opportunity, education, and justice.
As a program manager, educator, and community advocate, Donna has led major initiatives that improved operations, expanded educational access, and modernized public programs. Her experience includes:
- Managing multi-million-dollar budgets and cross-functional teams across public and private sector
- Overseeing educational improvement projects that led to performance gains of 55–75% for students and organizations.
- Supporting local city council and school board campaigns that strengthened voter engagement and community visibility
- Driving technology upgrades and efficiency improvements that saved organizations up to 65% in costs
Her leadership has spanned from Corporate America to Houston classrooms to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, where she coordinated technical reviews and led process improvements. In every role, Donna has brought structure, compassion, and results.
Donna’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Prairie View A&M University, an MBA from DePaul University, and a Master of Education from the University of St. Thomas. She’s also a certified Project Management Professional (PMI) and holds principal and math teaching certifications from the Houston Independent School District.
Beyond her professional roles, Donna’s service continues through her involvement in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Top Ladies of Distinction, and her leadership with the Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association
